As the owner of J. A. Crawford, Inc, Dr. Judith Crawford brings over 30 years of professional experience toward the solution of occupational and environmental health problems.
As a consultant, she has had the privilege of helping clients protect the health and safety of their people by providing comprehensive industrial hygiene and environmental health and safety services. She has conducted numerous industrial hygiene surveys, led indoor air quality investigations, designed and delivered health and safety programs, conducted exposure and risk assessments and delivered educational programs. The ultimate goal of these efforts is preventing injury and illness.
Dr. Crawford continues to work in research studying occupational and environmental chemical, physical and biological exposures and respiratory health. Her postdoctoral work involved quantifying exposure and potential cancer health risks of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in particulate matter. She has numerous publications in the scientific literature. She taught a college course covering occupational health and safety fundamentals. She was previously the director of a University environmental health and safety program.
Dr. Crawford holds a BS in Chemistry, MS in Environmental Science, Certificate in Field Epidemiology and PhD in Environmental Science. She is a board-certified industrial hygienist (CIH - Board for Global EHS Credentialing) certified in Comprehensive Practice and Indoor Environmental Quality.
She is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA)
